Plant hire frequently asked questions
Providing that the property owner is content that you are a competent person to operate a machine – that is as far as what the law requires.
A typical hire period is based on 24 hours, so we will collect the equipment 24 hours or later after you have hired the equipment unless otherwise agreed. A hire week is based on a 5 day working week.
If you wish to keep the machine longer then you will be required to pay for the day.
Deposits are taken at company’s discretion
We try to be as flexible as possible if you need to change a booking. An admin/cancelation fee may apply
We require a copy of your driving licence and two utility bills dated within the last 90 days.
We pride ourselves on supplying modern and well maintained equipment. All equipment is tested before each hire.
It is the hirers responsibility to insure all equipment against theft, loss or damage should the unexpected happen. Equipment will be charged on a market value basis. All damage will be charged accordingly.
As part of our service, we offer at a percentage of the hire cost hired-in insurance.
We do try our best to keep all of our customers happy, however there are a limited number of ‘first drop’ delivery spaces available and while we are happy to accommodate customers delivery requirements it is not always possible to give everyone the ‘first drop’ delivery slots.
We can and do offer evening and weekend deliveries, please ask. We will do our best to accommodate all requests.
Please notify us in advance of collection and we will do our best to work around your circumstances.
Any plant equipment must be returned with out excess mud and dirt. There will be a charge for cleaning if the machine is returned with excess mud and dirt.
